Our Story
Artz Collective was created by Ms Ziggy Clements, (Les Miserables, Motherhood the Musical, Mamma Mia!) to ensure all students, no matter what their background, body shape, ethnicity or natural ability, could have access to terrific performing arts training, teachers, professional mentoring and advice, without having to travel across Melbourne.
We are celebrating 16yrs of guiding and training young performers in their quest to reach their performing dreams. Whether being a professional performer is your big goal or just gaining the confidence to sing a song or get up on-stage and perform for mum & dad, all these small steps make up the Artz Collective performing arts journey experience.

A Warm Welcome to the Artz Collective
Ms Ziggy Clements
As a professional artist, I’ve had the chance to spend years on tour with large scale musical productions, featuring in various TV, and cabaret shows. I’ve often struggled to continue my training in suitable environments which is what motivated me to create the Artz Collective.
My goal is to ensure that all students, no matter what their background, age, size, ethnicity, or natural ability could have access to terrific performing arts training, world-class teachers, as well as professional mentoring and advice. And I can say with enormous pride and joy that this is exactly what my students have experienced over the years, bringing their natural talent and dedication to our studios.
The Artz has become a place for likeminded performing arts teachers to share our legacy and experience.
I would like to share an experience with you, where one of my Year 10 students was in fear of being expelled from her high school due to her failing grades and poor behaviour. As a wonderful young leader in her singing, dancing, and acting classes, her high school struggles were a mystery to myself and my team teachers. Committed to help her overcome her difficulties, we met with that student and her mother, and organised to speak to her high-school principal.
With careful mentoring and a plan in place, we were able to make sure that her performing arts strengths were highlighted in her class schedule and managed to keep her in school, finishing with a superb Year 12 grade celebration.
This is only one of the examples of student success way beyond the studio doors, where our ability to focus a student’s desire to perform, applied to their discipline from their training with us benefited another part of their life. This young woman has now become a professional singer, touring with Nikelodeon and Disney shows and played PINK! in the Pink Tribute show. What a transformation!
We hope we can take you on our magical journey through the performing arts, as we believe it is helping equip all of our students to perform for life no matter what their professional aspirations are.
